Earth Day: Guided Online Forest Bathing

Description

Sometimes, what we need is not more information, but a moment to slow down enough to feel where we already are. On Earth Day, we are often invited to think about what we can do, change, or improve. And while this matters, it can also keep us in a space of thinking and doing, without necessarily touching the deeper relationship we have with the living world. The way we relate to the Earth is not only something we think about, it is something we feel, in the body, in the pace of our breath, in how we meet the world around us. And often, we don’t have the space to really notice it. There are moments, though, when something softens, and we remember, even briefly, that we are not separate from the world around us. Not outside of it, not observing it from a distance, but part of the same living, breathing whole. And maybe this quiet forgetting, this sense of separation, sits at the heart of so much of what we are living through. This session is an invitation into something simple, and yet not always easy: a practice of belonging. Through a guided forest bathing experience, we will slow down together and open space for a different kind of connection. One that is not based on effort or intention, but on presence. Registrations here: https://forms.gle/G1QRuMeNS3VyexPd8 The session will take place online, on Zoom, in English. 🗓 Date: 21st April 🕰 Time: 17:30 CET / 18:30 EET (Romania time) ⏳ Duration: 90 minutes You are invited to join from wherever you are, a park, a forest, your garden, your balcony, or even just by an open window. After signing up, you will receive all the practical details and the Zoom link via email. We will move through a series of gentle forest bathing invitations, moments of silence, and shared reflection, allowing the experience to unfold in its own rhythm. What do you need? 🌸 good internet connection 🌱 external battery for the phone in case you need to charge it ✨a notebook & pen 💧water 🌳 nature elements of your choice (stones, sticks, flowers, pine cones, etc) in case you don’t have access to a green/blue space The session is donation-based, offered in the spirit of making this space accessible to more people. You are invited to contribute what feels right and possible for you, as an exchange that supports this work continuing. About the guide: I am Alexandra Brînzac, from Romania, a psychologist and facilitator working at the intersection of psychology, ecology, and nature-based practices. My work is rooted in creating gentle and supportive spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, with others, and with the living world. I am trained in Experiential Psychotherapy and have over 9 years of experience in non-formal education and international youth work. In the past years, my focus has been increasingly on ecopsychology and nature-based approaches to wellbeing, exploring how our relationship with the Earth shapes the way we relate to ourselves, to others, and to the challenges of our times. I am currently training as a Forest Therapy Practitioner and Forest Bathing Guide with Forest Therapy Hub. Registrations here: https://forms.gle/G1QRuMeNS3VyexPd8 Maybe, for these 90 minutes, Earth Day becomes less about what we should do, and more about what becomes possible when we remember that we belong.
