Moments of change, transition, or the “edges” of life can be difficult to navigate. When we find ourselves in the in-between spaces it’s very easy to feel disoriented. In many cases, the edges are asking us to do this, to enter the unknown where we are no longer the same as we were before, but we haven’t reached “the other side of our story” yet. Traversing these liminal realms can take days, weeks, years, or a lifetime. There are no set paths or fixed recipes, which is why many people can feel alone on these journeys. While we need to traverse some parts on our own, it’s at least as important to have stops where we can be together. I invite you to a storytelling oasis where: 🦉We will enter the realm of stories through an adaptation of the story “The Raven and the Tide Lady” - a story inspired by a myth of the indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest coast. 🦉We will explore through writing exercises and other imaginative processes, the emotions, images and meanings of this story. 🦉Towards the end, we will migrate to the realm of biographical stories - where each participant will have the opportunity to write and share about an edge they are going through or have gone through (of course, sharing, like any other invitation, is optional) Whether you have created or told stories before (fictional, real or anywhere in between) or not, you are welcome in this space as you are. Who am I ? Storyteller, poet and facilitator, Andrei is a man devoted to imagination, the Earth and the spaces in which they co-create with us. Andrei has been increasingly and insistently called to guide the processes that awaken new searches, make us see the doors that in the past seemed invisible and that bring us closer to ourselves and the living World.
